The Philosophy
"Press the pause button on life to allow the body to return to the eye of the storm, rather than being in the storm itself, so calm can enter."
The 3-Step Journey to Oakwiseness
Grounding
Reconnect with your body's signals and natural rhythms. Understand what's actually happening beneath surface symptoms. Slow down and listen.
Rooting
Get to the roots of what has been building, often over decades. Depending on what you need, we may work with herbal medicine, bodywork, Internal Family Systems, NLP and nervous-system practices, all tailored to your constitution and situation.
Growing
Integrate this wisdom into your daily practice. Develop the confidence to make informed choices about your health. Growing your own Oakwiseness, rather than just receiving advice.
Getting Grounded
In our modern lives, we are often caught in the storm. Stress, deadlines, rushing, and constant activity. Healing cannot occur in this state of chaos. My method involves pressing the pause button to allow your body to recalibrate.
When we return to the eye of the storm, a place of stillness amidst the chaos, we begin to change the body's terrain. Given the right conditions, the body is far better able to rebalance and heal itself.
Roots, Not Fruits
Modern medicine often treats the "fruits" - the symptoms that manifest on the surface. But a tumour, chronic pain, or burnout is often the fruit of a 20-30 year process.
We must address the "roots" - the underlying habits, mineral deficiencies, nervous system states, and daily practices that fed the condition. By treating the root, the fruit takes care of itself.
Transformation
Growth occurs when wisdom becomes embodied practice.
This is where we integrate multiple modalities: herbal preparations tailored to your terrain, bodywork to release held patterns, nutritional strategies to rebuild depleted systems, and practices that retrain your nervous system to support your continued growth.
Holistic Integration
I integrate neuroscience, brain function, mineral health, and diet with what the body needs to build strong, healthy tissues. It's not just about one modality; it's about playing with more cards than traditional therapists to unlock your body's innate healing potential.
Explore ModalitiesMy work complements, rather than replaces, care from your GP or medical team.
